take a conservative approach to the evaluation and treatment of
back pain, using evidence-based guidelines founded on
clinical
research. Most back pain responds to conservative medication
management and physical therapy. When these measures fail, we perform diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks which help
determine the source of the patient's pain and further direct
therapy. Often, surgery can be avoided or less invasive
procedures can be found to manage pain.
