Comprehensive Pain Evaluation
Patients referred for complete evaluation
- A detailed History and Physical
Examination target toward the specific pain complaints
- Psychological screening and
interview by a Psychologist affiliated with the Clinic
- Physical Medicine evaluation to
assess Rehabilitation potential and to prescribe the
optimal Physical Therapy regimen
- Diagnoses are made and a Treatment
Plan is formulated
- A Report is generated and
forwarded to the referring doctor
Pain Medicine Management
Patients who are referred for Medical
Management. Based on the Pain Evaluation, we may prescribe:
- Common and novel medications,
given by common and novel routes of administration
- Chronic opioids for selected
patients

Nerve Destruction Techniques
These techniques are offered to patients who
might benefit from the destruction or degeneration of a
nerve without appreciable loss of function. In some cases,
such as cancer pain syndromes, a major nerve may be
destroyed to treat intractable pain.
